Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant
came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand.

I totally believe this story's advice. A big stone represents our obstacle. In our lives we usually meet many obstacles so that these obstacles need to be removed, but not to walk around them. Though the wealthiest merchants, an obstacle still follows them like a big stone on the road if they do not take it out. However, a peasant, in his life way, is able to remove this obstacle out, so he can continues his way to reach his goal, and he is provided with many gold coins. I myself strongly support the writer's word that "every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one's condition." The story is very meaningful for me. I am sometimes afraid of obstacle and I like do everything easily. I strongly believe that obstacle helps me to succeed, but it is very hard for me to deal with. After I finished reading this story, it helps me again to fight obstacle. The more big rock the more big gold. It means that the more bigger obstacle the more usefulness we've got.
This story is very interesting and meaningful for us because it teachs us to deal with the obtacle that lay ahead. We shouldn't abandon the obtacle or big trouble even though it is very hard for us. One most thing, barrier is the way that make us get succeed in the future. rock is obstacle in life. we have to try solving problem in front of us and face to face, do not ignore. when we clean obstacle out, we reach our goal mean that achievement is behind the obstacle.
One tries hard to remove obstacle, finally comes success. This story reflects to life in reality. Actually, Obstacle is barrier from people to reach their goal, but is also an opportunity that may be courage people to move forward as long as people know how to do it.
After I read this story,I found that I have many obstacle that I've not completed it. When I face to the obstacle, sometime i try to escape from it , because I think that it's very hard to me. This story gave many advice to me to dare facing the problem, if we try to solve it, we will reach our goal successfully.
For my point of view obstacle is not so bad for us. We can enforce our thinking or idea to deal with the obstacles in our life. Life are similar the path so we will meet some obstacle that we must find the way to solve it but do not escape. I think ignore the obstacle is failure.
Stumbling upon a good and short story, read it, understand it. You may never know that it will also inspire you in at least a very little way. May that inspirational story also let you fire the souls of others, by sharing to your loved ones. You may never expect how much impact it may have. Who knows, some people may have big gratitude towards a simple share of an inspiring story.
No one can help us except ourselves. We are the first, and never wait the others to start for us; otherwise, we will miss it. Moreover, it is a bad lesson that the others might learn from us. They learn to be a selfish person. Such activity of every people will create a lot of bad people and it will result a bad society. In this story, I strongly disagree with the king’s manner though he is a generous king. He is creating a bad culture for his people and society.
We strongly believe the story provide us a lot which imply the main points while we read. Many wealthiest merchants and courtiers could not do anything when they saw a boulder on their path, so they just walk around. Never the less, peasant could resolve their obstacles on their path. As a result, they can remove boulder and get many gold coins. Anyway, we prefer this sentence, "Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one's condition." that mean we never say good bye if we cannot do anything we planed. Otherwise, we must encourage ourselves try to fight it away from our life.
This story is very meaningful because it shown us about the real life of the man that tried to remove the obstacle. So if you would like to succeed in doing something, you should try to deal with problems as far as possible. Please remember that every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one's condition.
