The Frog and the Ox

"Oh Father," said a little Frog to the big one sitting by the side of a pool, "I have seen such a terrible monster! It was as big as a mountain, with horns on its head, and a long tail, and it had hoofs divided in two."
"Tush, child, tush," said the old Frog, "that was only Farmer White's Ox.

It isn't so big either; he may be a little bit taller than I, but I could easily
make myself quite as broad; just you see."

So he blew himself out, and blew himself out, and blew himself out.

"Was he as big as that?" asked he.
"Oh, much bigger than that," said the young Frog.
Again the old one blew himself out, and asked the young one if the Ox was as big as that.
"Bigger, father, bigger," was the reply.
So the Frog took a deep breath, and blew and blew and blew, and swelled and swelled and swelled.

And then he said: "I'm sure the Ox is not as big as%u2026" But at this moment he burst.

Self-conceit may lead to self-destruction.

I'm Yorn SAren. The frog as father is too proud and too ambitious. Compare to people, this frog character is like a people who is an arrogant. He thinks he is better than any others. He does just show how he is; he is strong or powerful. He does not dare face with the reality. In my opinion, we ought to acknowledge who we are instead of lying other people and lying ourselves. Facing the reality is the real man.

I think that, the author want to tell us about powerful like the frog said he himself can broad itself like the ox, but the last became die. So the author warning us "don't do what that your can't do"
like the frog.

the frog is a small animal that can't do like the ox that big body.i think like our life also,we can do and think about capacity, knowledge by you self, if we do like frog we will die soon.

This story a little frog look down at the ox. It told this to other that the animal at the out side is not strong like it. Actually, it lie them it never face the trust that it cannot do anything like the ox. It try to show the power of it that cannot help the people as the ox.
