To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint.
The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment.
When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital. Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands.
When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?"
The father went home & committed suicide.
Think about the story the next time u see someone spill milk at a dinner table or hear a baby crying. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't.
Too often we fail to recognise the difference between the person and the performance.
People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.
Pause and ponder. Think before you act. Be patient. Understand & love.

This story has very meaningful because It teaches me to be patient. I have understood the whole story, it reveals the father's mistake to his son. But he could do nothing and felt regret of what he did. He adores his son and love his truck. But his anger makes him impatient action. Finally, he did a big mistake to his adorable son. Overall, I have learned a new lesson, is to be patient. Before you do something, you should thing carefully because you can not turn the time back.
This story is very crucial to reflects to all people to know about what should do and what shouldn't do. Generally, people can't avoid making mistake because no one perfect. Furthermore, it teaches us to injure and keep calm with doing anything. What's more, in this story, father really regret what he has done to his son, but it too late. All in all, through this story, i think that this story provide us that "think before leap".
Be Patient is the way that we do, doing something without thinking about the result usually is not good. In this story father made a mistake on his son that made him feel regret what he done on his son. Children is small life that easy to hurt something that adult do to them. So please be patient on them.
wow, it is awesome story that I have read. It teach us a lot how to be patient when we are angry with someone we love or anybody else. we want to remember when they take action, they will get result which is bad or good. Therefore, please stop and think before they act. Be patient is effective way to control our feeling.
